With the present status of the Municipality of Kalibo having 315 cases of poor children with disabilities aged 0-14, the Local Government of Kalibo envisioned to mainstream and socially integrate those children with disabilities to become productive and contributing members of the community.

On this context, the present administration under the leadership of Mayor Raymar A. Rebaldo prioritized to put up a Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC) and with the very limited municipal resources, the Local Government of Kalibo is sourcing out funds in order to respond to the needs of our poor children with disabilities.

1.     To provide free and comprehensive rehabilitation services to poor children with disabilities.

2.    To make available free indoor and outdoor stimulation and therapeutic training through play and social activities for the physical, social and psychological development of Children with Disabilities (CWDs).

3.    To prepare CWDs for education and their integration into mainstream society.

4.    To develop capacities of Children with Disabilities (CWDs) for them to become pro of their communities.
